By the beach in North Berwick
Our two flats sit on Quality Street, about 150 metres from the sand, with the harbour at the bottom of the road and the high street at the top. Everything in North Berwick is on foot from here: both beaches, the Seabird Centre and its boat trips to the Bass Rock, and the town's cafés and independent shops.

Good things: Beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Lounge comfy. Central location excellent for discovering N Berwick. Things to improve: Dining table ridiculously small and dining chairs unsuitable. En - suite in main bedroom needs better ventilation. Arrangements for parking need to be clearer. This would help visitors avoid hefty parking fines.
I visited in October with my 80yr old mum. She is very fit so the stairs up to the flat were no problem but as stated, should be considered if there are any mobility issues. Mum loved the place as did I. Very clean, comfy and well appointed. The location was perfect for us. A great combination of central to the town and all its independent shops and cafes as well as a stones throw from the sea. A 10 min drive in the car opens up plenty more beauty spots to explore though for a long weekend we didn’t really need to go further than what was on our doorstep. Entry and communication couldn’t have been easier. Really enjoyed our stay.
